CONWAY — The Texas Tenors will perform in the University of Central Arkansas’s Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
With their hit PBS special now airing across the US and a Billboard Top 10 album, “You Should Dream,” the group is quickly becoming one of America’s favorite new tenors. The Texas Tenors debuted in 2009 on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” The group became the highest-ranking vocal group in the history of the show with more than 100 million people from around the world tuning into watch.
Group members John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher bring their unique blend of country, classical and Broadway to the stage.
“When you come to these performances, it doesn’t matter if you’re a country fan or a Broadway lover, something in the show will appeal to you,” Amanda Horton, director of UCA Public Appearances, said. “Their vocals are breathtaking, and it is really neat to see how they harmonize so well together.”
The Texas Tenors have performed more than 800 concerts around the world, including the United Kingdom and China. The group has accumulated a long list of awards, the most recent being named the No. 10 Classical Artist in the World for 2014 according to Billboard Magazine.
They can be found in cities across the country for extended runs, including 60 concerts a year at The Starlite Theatre in Branson, Mo.
Tickets range from $30‐$40 for the general public and $10 for children and students. For tickets, call UCA Ticket Central Box Office at (501) 450-3265 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday or toll free from anywhere in Arkansas at 1-866-810-0012 or visitwww.uca.edu/reynolds.
