The University of Central Arkansas held Commencement on Saturday, April 30 in the Jeff Farris Health and Physical Education Center.
University officials conferred 978 undergraduate degrees and 204 graduate degrees during three ceremonies.
The university awarded Distinguished Professor Emeriti designation to retired professors Dr. Dave Naylor and Dr. Ben McNew.
Students who received the President’s Medallion were Samantha Hoelzeman from the College of Education, Francis Benton from the College of Liberal Arts, Enock Rwamuza from the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Denesha Taylor from the College of Business, Mallory Brooks from the College of Fine Arts and Communication and Mollie Henager from the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences.
