The University of Central Arkansas’s Reynolds Performance Hall will welcome The Texas Tenors “Holiday & Hits” on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The Emmy Award-winning tenor trio of John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher rose to fame on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in 2009 and are the most successful music group and third highest-selling artist in the history of the TV show.
“The Texas Tenors will offer our patrons an intimate evening of entertainment and an unforgettable show that combines songs from country, Broadway, classical and pop music with holiday favorites,” said Amanda Horton, director of Reynolds Performance Hall. “We presented them in 2015, and the positive feedback from our audience encouraged us to bring them back for this concert.”
Classically trained, the versatile tenors have performed more than 1,400 concerts around the world including headline shows in Las Vegas, China and a 24-city tour in the United Kingdom. They have also performed at The White House National Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Congressional Medal of Honor Ceremonies, numerous charity events and NBA games across the U.S.
The group has released four studio albums, two PBS Specials, four DVDs, multiple singles and a children’s book that have earned them impressive recognition including The Gelett Burgess Award for Excellence in Children’s Literature and the distinction of being Billboard Magazine’s 2017 No. 10 Classical Crossover Artist in the World. Their most recent albums “Rise” and “A Collection of Broadway and American Classics” both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Classical Chart.
