The Graduate Association of Counseling and Psychology Students (CAPS) is pleased to announce the first annual workshop in their professional development workshop series.
This year’s workshop will be presented at UCA?s Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center on Friday, April 15. Dr. John J. Murphy, associate professor of psychology at UCA, award-winning author and internationally recognized trainer and practitioner of brief solution-focused therapy will be the presenter.
Murphy?s workshop is titled, ?Brief Solution-Focused Interventions for Children, Adolescents, and Families,? and will feature live and videotaped demonstrations of techniques and practical activities for participants.
Professionals and graduate trainees in all areas of the mental health field are invited to participate.
The registration fee for professionals is $75 before April 8, and $85 after. Registration for students is $35 before April 8, and $45 after. The workshop is worth six clock hours to count toward continuing education credits. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
