The following presentations, publications and accomplishments were submitted by UCA faculty and staff:Carol Ann Fitzgerald, Oxford American, and Gary Powell, Department of Speech and Writing, were recently awarded fiction writing art fellowships by the Arkansas Arts Council.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock in October. Governor Mike Huckabee will present these and other art awards.
Brooks Green, Department of Geography, has been selected by the administration of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla., to be the external consultant who will review the geography program.
