The following presentations, publications and accomplishments were submitted by UCA faculty and staff:Marvin Williams, Academic Advising, was named outstanding advisor for the state at the Region VII conference of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) held March 9-11 in Little Rock. Region VII includes Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. Eighteen professional and faculty advisors from UCA attended.

Roy Whitehead Jr., College of Business Administration, presented his article on the Boy Scouts and freedom of association at the Austrian Scholars Conference on March 18 at Auburn University.
Lynn Burley, Department of Writing and Speech, presented ?Across Spaces: The Semantic Component in Creative Writing,? on March 24 at the Conference on College Composition and Communication in Chicago.
Brooks Green, Department of Geography, wrote a chapter titled, ?The Land That Yet Remains: Israel’s Future Border,” for the book, ?Geography of the Holy Land: Perspectives.?
