Dr. Joe Horton and Lauren Maxwell, Department of Economics, Finance, and Insurance, and Dr. Rebecca Gatlin-Watts, Department of Marketing, Management and Information Systems, presented a paper “Cross-Cultural Virtual Teaming” at the meeting of the Association of Private Enterprise Education in Nassau, Bahamas, April 4-6.
Dr. Carolyn Pinchback, Department of Mathematics, recently published ?Learning Ratio and Proportion Through Tangrams? with Sylvia Taube in the spring issue of the Texas Mathematics Teacher, a publication of the Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
Dr. William H. Friedman, Department of Management Information Systems, was the chair for a session on the science of planning at the Canadian Operations Research Society Institute for Operations Research and Management Science international meeting on May 16, which included his paper, “Supplying and Pricing Computer Resources Analogously to an Externally Supplied Utility.”
