The following presentations and publications were recently made by UCA faculty:Victor Puelo, Department of Economics, Finance and Insurance & Risk Management, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use their certified financial planner marks in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements.
John Watt, Department of Marketing and Management, recently accepted the position of executive editor of “The Journal of Psychology: Interdisciplinary and Applied.”
Lisa Christman, University College, and Dr. Sherri Latimer, Title III Grants, presented ?Using Technology in Intermediate Algebra? on Sept. 28 at a conference of the Arkansas Association for Developmental Education. The presentation discussed a study regarding Christman?s use of the Sympodium in the classroom.
Lauren Maxwell, Department of Economics, Finance and Insurance & Risk Management, and Dr. Sherri Latimer, Title III Grants, presented ?Plugging Into Education: Using Technology In Economics Classes? on Oct. 6 at a conference of the Arkansas College Teachers of Economics and Business. The presentation discussed Maxwell?s use of the DyKnow Vision software in the classroom. Maxwell was president of ACTEB and successfully hosted the association?s 2006 conference.
