Pinkalicious the Musical will visit the University of Central Arkansas at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11, at Reynolds Performance Hall.
“We are very excited to bring Pinkalicious the Musical to Reynolds in February, as this series of books has many fans who admire the spunk and creativity of the main character, Pinkalicious, and her brother Peteriffic,” said Amanda Horton, director of Reynolds. “The music is catchy and fun, and whether you’re a fan of the color pink or not, you’ll certainly love this show.”
According to the story, Pinkalicious can’t stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor’s office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe — a dream come true for this pink-loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament.
Tickets are $5 for children, $10 for adults. For tickets, call the Reynolds Box Office at 501-450-3265 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday or visit www.uca.edu/reynolds.
Pinkalicious the Musical is part of the Main Stage Education Series and will include one 10 a.m. matinee performance for schoolchildren (daycares, schools and home schools only) Feb. 12. Reservation forms are available at uca.edu/publicappearances/mainstage.
“A Tea Party with Pinkalicious” at the Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center Room 111 is a fundraiser for the Main Stage Education Series, and will take place at 4 p.m on Sunday, Feb. 11, right after the 3 p.m. performance. Tickets are $25 (which does not include a ticket to the performance). Tea party attendees will enjoy sips and sweets and get to meet and take a photo with Pinkalicious.
