Donations collected to assist the family of Jaykwantay Girley reached nearly $5,000, one week after the student's death. Affectionately known as "JJ" to fellow classmates and students, Girley passed away on Wednesday, October 2. Name the Bear winner announced

University of Central Arkansas freshman Nakita Higgins was selected as the Name the Bear contest winner.
