University of Central Arkansas School of Nursing students Gabriel Gifford, Alicia Luangsisombath, Hellen Palencia Rivas and Brittany Wiles taught a community class titled, “How to Talk to Your Doctor,” at the River Valley Adult Learning Alliance of Dardanelle.

The students presented the class as part of their Community Health Nursing service-learning course taught by UCA faculty Annette Gartman, clinical instructor I, and Laura Gillis, assistant professor. The River Valley Adult Learning Alliance was the group’s community partner, and the organization livestreamed the class on Facebook.
