Dr. Jim Murray, Department of Biology, and undergraduate student Josh Morrison received a $2,650 State Undergraduate Research Fellowship.
The team will study the role of specific brain cells in the control of navigational behavior in a marine slug. Their study will illustrate general principles of motor control.
The work will train students in neurophysiology techniques and contribute to publications on neuroscience.
