Former Minnesota Viking defensive front Alan C. Page will speak at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, in Reynolds Performance Hall. His appearance is sponsored by the UCA Office of Minority Services.
Page and his teammates on the defensive front came to be known as the famed “Purple People Eaters” for their ferociousness in the NFL.
Page, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, is now a member of the Minnesota Supreme Court, the state’s first African-American to serve in that capacity.
Justice Page is now a defender of equal education for all children. He will speak on “The Power of Mentoring.” His lecture is free and open to the public.
