Country music recording artist Matthew Huff, a 2003 University of Central Arkansas graduate, will return to his alma mater prior to the Bear’ basketball game against Tennessee-Martin on Wednesday, Dec. 5. The show will be free with admission to the game. Order tickets online.
Huff, who was the 2011 Nashville’s New Country Star winner and George D. Hay Music Hall of Fame & Foundation Hoe-down Award Recipient, will perform in the Farris Center beginning at 5:30 and will also sing the national anthem prior to the 7 p.m. tipoff against the Skyhawks.
Huff’s debut single “Back Again” reached Top 40 charts, and his follow-up single “As Time Goes By” climbed to as high as No. 9 on the Power Source Music Magazine chart.
Huff, who grew up in Mammoth Spring before coming to UCA, has toured throughout the South and Midwest while working on his upcoming album.
