Kim Chi visits UCA as artist-in-residence

The University of Central Arkansas will host Korean American artist Kim Chi as an artist-in-residence from Thursday, April 6, to Friday, April 7.

“An Evening with Kim Chi” will take on place on Friday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m., in Reynolds Performance Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

Born in the United States and raised in Korea, Kim Chi studied graphic design in college before moving into fashion design, painting and sculpture. Kim Chi is the successful entrepreneur and business owner behind her beauty brand, Kim Chi Chic Cosmetics.

Additionally, Kim Chi will host a make-up tutorial and a conversation with students on Thursday, April 6, at the Keystone Steps inside the Windgate Center for Fine and Performing Arts, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
