UCA JAZZ ENSEMBLES TO HOST BALLROOM DANCE APRIL 11

CONWAY — The University of Central Arkansas Department of Music will host a jazz dance at the Conway Country Club on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students. Proceeds from the dance will benefit the UCA Jazz Program. To buy tickets, visit www.uca.edu/music, call (501) 450-5751 or e-mail swarren@uca.edu.
UCA Jazz Ensembles I and II will perform hits of the Big Band era encompassing all styles of ballroom dance: Latin, swing and waltzes.
“You are invited to experience a magical evening of Big Band music as the UCA Jazz play and sing your favorites from the past,” saxophone professor Dr. Jackie Lamar said. “Come listen and dance to the hits of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington.”
Dress is semi-formal; refreshments will be provided.
