Hot Spring County and partners will host a community and economic development training event and community stakeholder meeting entitled Hot Spring County Conversations: A Convening of Citizens and Leaders on Wednesday, November 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Great Room at the College of the Ouachitas in Malvern.
Jon Chadwell of the Newport Economic Development Commission and Russell Carey of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation will share how to engage young families and leaders and information related to Arkansas’ current and future workforce needs. Attendees will also discuss the future of Hot Spring County and will be issued a challenge from County Judge Dennis Thornton.
Over 140 Hot Spring County community leaders will be in attendance. Members of the press are invited to attend.
