Noelle Agan will present ?Genetic Screening and Counseling? during the Honors College High Table at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12 in the Honors College Forum, McAlister Hall Room 302.Agan will discuss the role of the genetic counselor, current uses of genetic screening, and pros and cons of genetic screening.
Agan earned her M.S. from the University of Texas Graduate School for Biomedical Sciences in Houston. She is a Board Certified Genetic Counselor with 9 years of clinical experience. She currently works for UAMS in the Department of Genetic Counseling and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and also provides genetic counseling services for clients throughout Arkansas via telemedicine.
