Dr. Terry James, Provost?s Division, received a $12,000 grant for Professional Development Support for the EAST (Environmental And Special Technology) Initiative in America’s schools.
According to James, this grant continues UCA?s relationship with the EAST Initiative and enhances the visibility of UCA in Arkansas and other states where the EAST program is implemented.
UCA provides support in the area of professional development and facilitator support directly related to the EAST Initiative concepts in America?s schools. This grant also provides opportunities for recruiting both undergraduates and graduate students.
