Patsy Ramsey and Harry Readnour, College of Liberal Arts, received a $5,000 grant for History Day in Arkansas.
The grant was funded through the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
The grant allows more Arkansas students to attend National History Day competition by paying part of the costs. The money will be used to pay student entry fees for competition at the University of Maryland in June 2005, and as many as 75 Arkansas students plan to compete next June.
