FILM PRODUCER TAYLOR FELTNER TO SPEAK AT UCA
CONWAY — Taylor Feltner, who produces documentaries and narrative feature films, will screen the documentary Just Like Us at the University of Central Arkansas on Wednesday, April 25.
The 7:30 p.m. screening, free and open to the public, will be in room 103 of Stanley Russ Hall.
“Taylor is a real up-and-coming producer in the industry, and we’re really lucky to have him coming to UCA,” said Dr. Bruce Hutchinson, associate professor of digital filmmaking. “Since he has produced both documentary and fiction films, I think he will appeal to a lot of our students. The fact that he originally comes from Arkansas should make him an inspiring figure for many of our students.”
Feltner, originally from Russellville, earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in film and a bachelor’s in religion at Florida State University.
Just Like Us has screened at festivals around the world. His film Leave Me Like You Found Me recently played at the SXSW Film Festival.
“Taylor’s visit is sponsored by the Little Rock Film Festival, and we’re both thankful and lucky to be partnering with such a great organization on this and other events,” Hutchinson said.
