Registration is open for the University of Central Arkansas Community School of Music’s Little Mozart Pre-Piano Class.
Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 11, the class will meet weekly in Snow Fine Arts Center room 134 for six weeks from 5:30-6 p.m.
According to Community School of Music Director Smokey Emerson, Little Mozart, taught by Terrie Shires, class piano instructor at UCA, is aimed at children in grades K-2 and is a fun-filled introduction to the keyboard and an excellent program to determine readiness for piano lessons.
The group method encourages practice and provides performance experience during the class. Maximum class size is six, with a minimum enrollment of four.
