The Conway Community Arts Association presents a special production of ?Love Letters? by A.R. Gurney as a fundraiser for the renovation of their future home on Court St. This production will be held at the Reynolds Performance Hall on the UCA campus on Friday through Sunday, Feb. 20-22.
?Love Letters? tells the story of Andy and Melissa, friends and lovers whose relationship spans decades. Amusing, bitter, hopeful, sad, exultant and always passionate, their letters reveal the intricate manner in which lives are intertwined. Opportunities lost, dreams unrealized, despair unrelieved, love unrecognized, and foolish-ambition constitute the canvas on which this couples? lives are painted. But?there is an epiphany, for both Andy and the audience.
The cast of ?Love Letters? includes Penny Hatfield and H.G. Foster, performing on Friday, February 20; Donna and Eric Hutchinson, on Saturday, February 21, and Madelyn and Jerry Adams on Sunday, February 22. Dr. Dan Skelton directs the production. The Friday and Saturday productions will include dinner, while the Sunday performance will be followed by High Tea. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. curtain; curtain on Sunday will be at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 each for Friday and Saturday, $35 for Sunday, and may be reserved by calling the Reynolds Box Office at 450-3265 or 1-866-810-0012 beginning Feb. 2.
