The University of Central Arkansas College of Liberal Arts will host “Exploring Our World,” a series of public lectures facilitated by university faculty and Conway government officials.
This marks the fifth year the College of Liberal Arts has hosted the free public lecture series.
All events will be held at the Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center on the UCA campus or at UCA Downtown, 1105 West Oak Street. The series is open to the general public and free to attend. Refreshments will be served at each event.
This year’s lecture series will kick-off with an evening lecture, “Crime and Violence in America,” on Wednesday, Sept.14 at 7 p.m. at A panel featuring UCA faculty and Conway government officials will explore the history of violence and criminality in the United States with a focus on criminality throughout the decades in the south.
