Scholarship at UCA to honor former student

Officials will announce plans Friday, Oct. 29, for a scholarship program to be named after a University of Central Arkansas student and basketball player who died in an apartment fire in April. The scholarship is being named after Aaron B. Mackey, a 22 year-old UCA student from Maumelle. He was a member of the UCA basketball team. The Provost's office has announced that another round of Faculty enhancement grants will be awarded in the spring. The due date for these grants will be January 17, 2005.
