Burdick Hall Update

Classes will resume in Burdick Hall on June 18th following a week of air quality testing. Emtec Environmental Solutions Company, an independent company specializing in environmental concerns, conducted several air quality tests this week. Interim Provost Steve Runge has announced two new appointments to the Office of the Provost. Dr. Kurt Boniecki has been appointed as the associate provost for instructional support. UCA Ranks Among Top 50 in National Board Certified Teachers

The University of Central Arkansas was ranked 28th among the top 50 institutions of higher education to produce 2011 National Board Certified Teachers, according to the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Risi Wins Top Film Award

Kimberly Risi, a recent graduate of UCA's Digital Filmmaking program, was the winner of the Charles B. Pierce Best Arkansas Film Award at the 2012 Little Rock Film Festival. Risi won the award for her 20-minute film, "The Man in the Moon."
