CONWAY — The second graduating class of students from the University of Central Arkansas’s Arkansas Writers MFA Workshop will read from their work at the Oxford American Annex on April 19 at 7:30 p.m.

The OA Annex is located at 1300 Main Street.

Graduating later this month are T.J. Heffers, Audrey Heffers and Jasmine Jobe. Rebecca Hawkins will also be a 2016 graduate of the program but will miss the reading as she has already moved to California to take a job in her chosen field of advertising.

“The Arkansas Writers MFA Workshop at UCA is fortunate to have this wonderful venue in downtown Little Rock where we can celebrate the work of our graduating students,” said Dr. Stephanie Vanderslice, the program director. “We are grateful to the Oxford American for providing it.”

The Arkansas Writers MFA Workshop, a three-year creative writing graduate degree program, was founded in 2012.
