The University of Central Arkansas’s Office of Student Wellness and Development is sponsoring its 18th annual Wellness Fair on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER) Center on the UCA campus.
This year, the Arkansas Surgeon General, Dr. Greg Bledsoe, will be in attendance and speak to the audience about the Healthy Active Arkansas Initiative.
The University of Central Arkansas recognizes that wellness information and screenings are crucial to the overall health and development of the students and employees. The Wellness Fair is a fun, engaging way for UCA to connect with the wellness community of Conway and surrounding areas. There will be over 60 booths set up. Attendees will be able to check their blood pressure and cholesterol, sample smoothies from Smoothie King, enter to win one of many available door prizes, and much more.
