The University of Central Arkansas Department of Political Science will host the 52nd Arkansas Model United (AMUN) Conference Nov. 17-18.
The conference’s opening plenary session takes place in Ida Waldran Auditorium in Old Main Friday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m.
Approximately 650 high school students and teachers from Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee are expected to participate in the two-day AMUN conference.
Carolyn Casey, a junior majoring in international studies and political science, will serve as the secretary-general of the conference. Mark Mullenbach, associate professor in the Department of Political Science, has coordinated the AMUN program since 2001.
