After monitoring the weather overnight and the condition of our campus infrastructure, core student services will open at 8:00 a.m. on Feb. 2. These services include Torreyson Library, Ronnie Williams Student Center, HPER Center, Student Health Clinic, as well as Christian Cafeteria and other dining locations.
Regarding class instruction, all academic classes that begin after 10:00 a.m. will be held as normal. Classes that begin before 10:00 a.m. will not be in session. With over 60 percent of Thursday classes beginning after 10:00 a.m., this allows the majority of our classes today to resume a normal schedule.
All other campus offices will also open at 8:00 a.m. Employees, in consultation with supervisors, should use their best judgment about travel to campus in the early part of the morning. Please be flexible as we all work together to assist employees that might be driving from other parts of the state. Warming temperatures will continue to improve any trouble areas in the region as the day progresses.
