The Marketing and Management Department offers a Major and a Minor program of study for the business discipline of Marketing. The Department’s mission is to prepare students for careers in that field, and to provide students with the knowledge and skill sets necessary to meet the requirements of the dynamic global marketplace. The Department offers courses leading to a BBA degree in Marketing that is comprehensive in scope and covers marketing research, consumer behavior, services marketing, direct marketing, and product distribution, promotion and pricing strategies. The Department exists to support and fulfill the vision and mission of the College of Business Administration by:
- providing an innovative and relevant curriculum in marketing which focuses on and is refined through interaction with the business community.
- enhancing the learning experience by emphasizing information technologies applicable to Marketing, collaborations with faculty and students, and critical thinking;
- serving our external stakeholders by providing qualifying graduates, encouraging professional involvement of students and faculty, and continuing research efforts; and
- promoting lifelong learning, integrity, and ethical behavior
