All library computers and laptops are equipped with the Microsoft 360, LockDown Browser, SPSS, and many other educational applications. Additionally, all library computers are connected to the library printing system.

Public Computer Labs

The library’s two computer labs have available the following equipment for public use:

  • Sixty PC desktops
  • An overhead book scanner
  • Five flatbed scanners
  • Four black and white printers
  • A color printer

Desktop computers are first come, first served and can be accessed by students, faculty, and staff using their UCA credentials. Non-UCA users should see the Computer Support Desk for assistance.

Laptops

Fifty PC laptops are available for check-out at the Circulation Desk.

  • Only current UCA students are eligible to check out laptops.
  • Check-out time is 6 hours, and laptops must remain within the library.
  • Users are fully responsible for the laptop when it is in their possession, including any repair or replacement costs.

Printing

  • Black and white printing/copying costs 5¢ per page, and color printing costs 50¢ per page.
  • Students receive $5.00 of printing funds on their BearCard every semester. After printing funds are spent, students may use BearBucks to pay for printing.
