Early next week, workers will be installing a new service desk in the front entrance of the library. The desk installation along with the new workroom are part of planned improvements that will provide library users with a single point of service when they are in the library. Now when our users want to check out a book, get computer support assistance, or need research instruction they won’t have to be shuffled from desk to desk.
During the installation, we expect there will be some additional noise in the library’s front area and computer lab. All library services will continue to be available at the current front desk, including textbook reserve, circulating library resources, and research assistance. Please also remember we offer many online resources and services on the library webpage: library.uca.edu/home. These services include chat with a real librarian, in-person or online research appointment scheduling, Ask Us email service, and FAQs.
