The NIH is currently inviting comments and suggestions for the next institutes-wide strategic plan for fiscal years 2027–2031. The institutes received only 160 responses during the last strategic-plan comment period five years ago—across the entire U.S.
This is an opportunity for faculty conducting biomedical and health research at a predominantly undergraduate institution like UCA to positively effect policy change.
