The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Academic Leadership invites you to participate in the Recognition of Achievement Program, a meaningful opportunity to strengthen your teaching effectiveness while earning campus-wide recognition for your commitment to educational quality. This structured professional development experience is designed to guide faculty through intentional growth opportunities that enhance both your skills and your impact in the classroom.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, CETAL offers three pathways to recognition: the Teaching Excellence track, the Teaching Excellence with Generative AI track, and the Global Learning track. Each pathway combines required components with a rich menu of optional activities, allowing you to customize your experience based on your interests, schedule, and professional goals. Many of these experiences offer the added benefit of connecting you with colleagues across campus who share your passion for teaching excellence. From instructional consultations for both in-person and online courses, to lunch and learn sessions that provide regular networking opportunities, to collaborative learning communities that dive deep into specific topics, the program creates multiple touchpoints for professional relationship building and peer learning.
To begin this rewarding journey, simply declare your intention to participate by October first using the CETAL registration form. We strongly encourage you to meet with a CETAL team member to create a customized plan that works with your schedule and helps you complete the program within the academic year. Our team is here to support you every step of the way.
Ready to begin? Visit the CETAL registration page to declare your intention to participate. We look forward to learning and growing together with you very soon!
