The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Academic Leadership invites faculty to join the Teaching with AI Mini-Conference on Tuesday, August 12th and Friday, August 15th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center. This two-day conference features all-new sessions based on the most current developments in generative artificial intelligence and its impact on teaching practices.
Sessions will address living syllabus policies, AI for research, AI-enabled and AI-resistant assignments, AI applications across disciplines, strategies for addressing student misuse, AI tools for creativity and productivity, differentiation and metacognition, AI ethics, and a Gemini for Education preview. Participants will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI tools, develop practical strategies for integrating AI into their courses, collaborate with faculty across disciplines, and explore forward-looking perspectives on AI in education.
