Economic Freedom is under fire from both the left and the right; there is a convergence toward greater government intervention in family life. Some argue that families were better off when women stayed home and thus agitate for policies encouraging them to return to a more traditional role of wife and mother. Do these policies, which amount to familial protectionism, empower women and families? Join Dr. Anne Bradley, the George and Sally Mayer Fellow for Economic Education and vice president of academic affairs at The Fund for American Studies, for a lively discussion on how economic freedom impacts families and gives parents choices about how to get the most out of life. WHEN & WHERE: Thursday, March 13, x-period, College of Business Room 100.
