Vince DiMartino, a celebrated American trumpeter renowned for his versatility in classical and jazz music, boasts a distinguished career that includes performances with top orchestras like the New York Philharmonic and collaborations with jazz legends such as Clark Terry and Lionel Hampton. Beyond his performance achievements, DiMartino has made significant contributions to music education through his roles at institutions like the University of Kentucky and Centre College.

This conversation will reveal his unique perspective on success, challenge conventional metrics, and explore how his diverse experiences shape his understanding of the concept.

The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) program for the Master’s (MS) in Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD)
is currently under review for reaccreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology & Speech-Language
Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (https://caa.asha.org). In accordance
with the CAA’s Public Comment policy and procedures, the CAA is seeking public comment as part of the review of the
MS-CSD program. During this public meeting, stakeholders are welcome to offer questions, comments, and other feedback regarding the

Griffin Planetarium shows this Friday October 25 and Saturday October 26 at 7:00pm: The one-hour shows this week include a tour of the current sky, (including how to see Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-Atlas this month), a review of the Europa Clipper mission, and the full-dome movie “Phantom of the Universe: The Hunt for Dark Matter”. The planetarium is located in the Conway Corporation Center for the Sciences. Seating starts 10 minutes before show time. Admission is free. Seating limited to the first 94. No admission after the shows begin. No food or drink allowed.

UCA Employee Engagement & Enrichment and the Admin Staff Coaching Circle Team would like to invite our Administrative Staff to our November Potluck! Food and Fun will be our focus! Come enjoy some hot food, hear about College Square from our new Director of Activities, Mary Crawford, and have fun playing our newly created Admin Staff Jeopardy game (this will challenge your UCA Campus knowledge!) Best of all we will have a drawing for PRIZES!

A main (meat) dish and drinks will be provided. If you would like to attend may we invite you to bring a side dish or dessert for everyone to enjoy.
