Join members of the National Fellowships Advisory Committee for a lunch & learn session in Christian Cafeteria Executive Dining room on Thursday 10/10 from 12:15-1:30pm to learn how you can help students see themselves as potential fellowship candidates (and winners)!
Nationally competitive fellowship and scholarship opportunities like the Fulbright Program, Harry S. Truman Scholarship, Barry Goldwater Scholarship, Udall Scholarship, Gilman Scholarship, and many more provide opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds and with a wide variety of academic focuses and career aspirations to support undergraduate and graduate education as well as enriching post-graduate experiences in the US and abroad. While UCA students have successfully applied to these prestigious programs, many students don’t realize these opportunities are available or aren’t confident they could win. All it takes is one faculty member encouraging a student to consider these opportunities to set them on a path to success! Come learn from a panel of faculty and staff with experience advising students on national fellowship applications to learn how you can connect your students with these life-changing opportunities.
