Award Criteria
The Global Learning Faculty Leader of the Year award was established in 2024. Award recipients should exhibit significant commitment and success in some or all of the following areas:
- Engaging students in one or more classes in global perspective taking
- Incorporating a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) unit in at least one class in the academic year
- Incorporating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in both curricular and co-curricular activities
- Presenting or publishing on topics related to COIL, Global Learning, or UN SDGs
- Engaging in and/or promoting education abroad programs
