Dr. Nancy Reese was a first generation college student, she is a UCA alumnus, and is currently Dean of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences (CHBS). Dean Reese was born in Monticello, Arkansas and grew up in Little Rock, where she graduated from Central High School.  Dean Reese’s love of learning and healthcare led her to degrees in Physical Therapy (bachelors), Health Services Administration (masters), and Anatomy/Neuroscience (PhD).  After several years as a neurologic physical therapist, she joined the faculty at UCA, teaching, then serving as Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy.  This is her fourth year as Dean of CHBS.

Dean Reese and her husband David have two wonderful daughters (Elizabeth and Nicole) and one grandson (Turner), all of whom live in North Carolina, which is where most of her vacations occur now!

If you’re near the Integrated Health Sciences Building, stop by the Dean’s office and say hello – we’d love to see you!
