Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be part of the Bear Marching Band at the University of Central Arkansas? Bear for a Day is your chance to step into that experience and see it for yourself!
At Bear for a Day, you’ll spend a day with the BMB and get a first-hand experience of what makes our organization so special. In addition to attending our gameday rehearsal, you’ll meet other members of the ensemble who play your instrument, giving you an inside look at what makes this ensemble so unique. You’ll also share a meal with us, build connections with current UCA students, and get a true sense of the community and culture that defines the program.
The day doesn’t stop there; you’ll also get to be on the sidelines during pregame and halftime, then sit with the BMB in the stands to experience the energy and excitement of game day from the inside!
Throughout the day, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet the band staff, who will be available to answer questions and help you learn more about what it means to be a part of the Bear Marching Band and the UCA Music family.
Participation is COMPLETELY FREE, and all Bear for a Day participants receive complimentary entry to the football game. In addition, your parent/guardian/chaperone will also get free or discounted tickets.
Feel free to wear whatever you would like to be comfortable throughout the day. However, we would encourage you to wear purple and gray of any kind to show your Bear Pride!
See, hear, and feel what it means to be a member of the Bear Marching Band! We can’t wait to see you in Estes Stadium very soon! GO BEARS!
