The Mu Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta was founded in 1932. It is an active, student-run organization that advocates continuing traditional activities and embracing new ideas to fulfill the mission of advancing appreciation for historical inquiry, scholarship, and community engagement. The Mu Chapter received the best chapter award in 2012 and 2013.
Phi Alpha Theta (ΦΑΘ) is an American honor society for undergraduate and graduate students (of any major) and professors of history. The society has over 350,000 members, with about 9,500 new members joining each year through 860 local chapters.
