  • The History Department Endowment Fund is a crucial source of support for student and faculty travel, research, and presentations, and for other program activities. This “everything” fund is an essential safety net for everyone associated with our department, whether students, faculty, or staff.
  • The Florence B. Williams Audio-Visual Fund is used to purchase and upgrade essential classroom instructional technology such as interactive smartboards, digital projectors, wiring upgrades, and televisions.
  • The Friends of History Day in Arkansas Fund underwrites National History Day Arkansas’s special prizes and program activities that benefit the state’s junior high and high school students.
  • The Dr. Theman Taylor Endowed Scholarship benefits full-time juniors or seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA who demonstrate academic excellence and social responsibility. Consideration may be given to financial need as well as involvement in Panhellenic activities.
  • The Maurice Webb Endowed Scholarship assists full-time undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours and have declared a major in history or education. Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need.
