Student Manager at UCA Student Center
Requirements:
Student must be responsible, reliable, and flexible. Federal Work Study is required. Students will work 12-20 hours a week depending on events.
Duties:
Student will be responsible for setting up events in Ida Waldran Auditorium and/or the Student Center. Student must be able to lift tables, chairs, and other furniture and equipment repetitively. Student will be required to enforce rules and standards, answer questions, answer phone calls, and call clients in the event of a no-show. The student would be responsible for opening and closing the building on occasions as well as maintaining order in the building. In addition to these responsibilities, the student will be in charge of assisting our clients with their audio visual needs and setting up staging equipment.
This is not an all-inclusive list of duties or tasks. Student may also be asked to perform various maintenance tasks around the student center and Ida Waldran.
No experience required. Training will be provided for the best candidate.
