First Gen Career Fair Reception

The Career Fair can be exciting—but also overwhelming. Step away from the crowds and relax in our First-Gen Career Reception space designed just for you. Enjoy refreshments, connect with First-Gen advocates, receive last-minute résumé tips, and recharge before or after meeting employers. Whether you’re celebrating your wins or calming your nerves, this space is your career fair home base.

 

 

 

Veterans Day Celebration

Veterans Day Celebration will be held on November 6, 2025. The Information Fail will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM in the McCastlain Ballroom with the Ceremony and Scholarship Presentation being held from 1:40 to 2:30 in the McCastlain Ballroom.Thursday, November 6th | 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM | McCastlain Hall

First Gen Lunch

First to Go week lunch will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 in the President's Dining Room in Christian Cafeteria. Faculty and Staff will pay $5.00Friday, November 7th | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Christian Cafeteria

Tailgate & Firstgiving (National First-Gen Day Celebration)

November 8th is National First-Gen Day, and we’re celebrating BIG! Join the First Generation Scholars Society for an afternoon of food, fun, and festivities. Join us for a tailgate-style celebration featuring music, games, food, and giveaways as we honor the resilience and pride of First-Gen students everywhere. This is more than a party; it’s a celebration of legacy, leadership, and community.
