About Jaclyn:

Jaclyn grew up in Lead Hill, Arkansas, and came to UCA as a freshman in 2009. During undergrad, she was busy on campus within Housing and Residence Life and Greek Life. To finish her degree, Jaclyn interned with the Arkansas Dept. of Correction Division of Community Correction in Harrison, and worked specifically with the Drug Court program. Jaclyn graduated in August of 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies, immediately started grad school, and served as the Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Life. During her time as the GA, Jaclyn was involved with RSO Renewals, the Event Submission process, OrgSync (now CubConnect), Greek Life, and various trainings for the office. Jaclyn graduated with a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Services and Administration in May of 2015.

After grad school, Jaclyn moved to Lubbock, Texas, and worked in University Student Housing at Texas Tech University. She built some of her best friendships while at Tech, and gained so much professional experience while working at a large research institution. During the spring of 2020, Jaclyn decided it was time to move closer to home and began job searching to leave Tech. Jaclyn returned to UCA in July of 2021 and is so thankful for the opportunities she’s received so far. Coming back to UCA was like returning home!

In her free time, Jaclyn enjoys spending time with her family and dog, Bellatrix, watching anything and everything on TV, playing video games, and doing crafty projects involving her Silhouette or sewing machine. She has friends all across the country and is a fan of many sports teams. If UCA isn’t playing, Jaclyn can usually be found cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
