The Office of Student Life is a proud co-sponsor of homecoming festivities across campus. Whether you are new student ready to celebrate your first homecoming, a student leader campaigning for your favorite royalty candidate, or an alumni member returning to campus, homecoming has something for everyone!

Homecoming Royalty Nomination Information

Nomination Requirements/Process

  • Nominees must have a minimum of 60 UCA credit hours and at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  • Nominees must be sponsored by a Recognized Student Organization.
  • Each organization can only sponsor/co-sponsor one king and one queen nominee.
  • The sponsoring organization must pay a $25 nomination fee to the Office of Student Life.
  • The nomination form and fee must be submitted by the posted deadline.
  • Nominees must personally complete the CubConnect Nomination Form. As part of the form submission, the nominee will add the RSO’s President to verify the organization’s sponsorship.
  • Each nominee and sponsoring organization must agree to abide by all campaign rules.

Homecoming Court Voting

  • Voting will be on CubConnect, and will be open for at least 72 hours.
  • Each student can cast up to three votes for their choice for Homecoming King and Queen.
  • Nominees with the top 8 vote totals become Homecoming Court members.
  • The King and Queen nominees with the highest number of votes will be crowned King and Queen.
  • The King and Queen nominees with the second highest number of votes will be crowned Prince and Princess.
