Appointments
All patients must present a valid UCA ID when requesting services.
Most appointments can be made by accessing the Online Appointment Scheduling system found at the top of your
screen or below. If you do not see a specific reason listed for your visit, please contact our office at
(501) 450-3136 so we can assist you with your appointment needs. An appointment reminder
will be sent to your UCA email address for your convenience.
If you decide you cannot keep your appointment, please allow someone else the opportunity to seek care. We ask that you call our office BEFORE your scheduled visit so we can find a better time to help you.
A $20 No Show charge will be expected from you if you miss an appointment.

Confidentiality and HIPAA
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) requires that we make all of our patients aware of our Confidentiality Policy. This policy describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to your medical information.
Excuses for Missing Class
Students are expected to communicate with their instructors about reasons for missed classes. Medical excuses are not provided to students except in special circumstances.
Insurance for Services Off Campus
Each semester a $75 Student Health Fee is included in your tuition which makes you eligible to use most of our services for FREE. Some of our services, such as a TB Skin test, require we charge a fee for the cost of replacement supplies.
Students requiring off-campus health care including physician appointments, tests, and prescriptions are responsible for their own transportation, fees, and charges. If you need health insurance coverage we recommend the Arkansas Health Insurance Marketplace through my Arkansas Insurance. Enrollment information can be found on their website at http://www.myarinsurance.com/
DASH Emergency Grant Information
Have you had an unexpected crisis that is forcing you to choose between paying the bills and staying in school. UCA can help you continue your education no matter what life may throw at you. DASH provides emergency micro-grants for non-educational expenses that students never have to pay back. For more information on the Dash Emergency Grant follow this link.
Emergency Textbook Grant
The Emergency Textbook Grant is a one-time-only payment of up to $500 meant to help with the purchase of textbooks for UCA courses. Emergency Textbook Grants help undergraduate and graduate students facing a financial crisis to purchase textbooks for their UCA courses. Disability Resource Center
The mission of the Disability Resource Center (DRC) is to create an accessible and inclusive environment where a student’s educational potential is maximized through the fostering of independence, self-advocacy, and individual holistic development. Some of the Services provided are Online Accommodations, Notetaking, Accessing Course Materials, Transcription, and Assistive Technology. Assistance Program For Students With Exceptional Circumstances (APSEC)
The APSEC program is a scholarship program that supports students who exhibit exceptional financial need and/or extraordinary academic excellence and do not qualify for, or receive, other institutional scholarships or financial aid sufficient to attend the university or continue their education.
