Find Funding

Finding funding occurs at the level of the school, college, or unit by the research project team and the principal investigator (PI). This page directs you to various University of Central Arkansas tools that assist project teams in locating funding.

How ORSP Can Assist During the Initial Phase of the Research Project Lifecycle:

While ORSP does not engage in research development or the identification of funding, it can guide you toward appropriate resources. At the start of a research project lifecycle, ORSP advises project teams to

  • Refer discussions about indirect cost arrangements to ORSP, which is crucial during the project’s initial stages.
  • Include ORSP in the negotiation and review of agreements and grants.
  • Be aware that ORSP is granted signature authority by the university.
  • Note that all sponsored projects at the University of Central Arkansas are required to be submitted through ORSP via Cayuse.
  • When developing proposals, ensure compliance with ORSP’s policy on proposal submission deadlines.
